Abstract

Your class falls on a late afternoon the day before Thanksgiving break. The topic of this class is so critical that students cannot miss it, although some may already be on their way home. This session will share a case of applying a web-based, multimedia- rich webinar application to deliver software demonstration and hands-on training via a synchronous distance learning environment, as well as the impact of HD face video for enhancing a teacher presence in an online learning environment. Recommended strategies for effective development of a session design and a checklist for facilitation will be shared.
