Abstract

Instructional faculty and our students are living in a time when massive change and stress are at an all-time high. This stress creeps into our classrooms and disrupts learning. Luckily, faculty don’t need to be experts on the science and application of well-being to support their students. In this session, Dr. Milagros (Millie) Rivera from the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development and Melissa Schreibstein from the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being will teach you how to integrate well-being into your classroom without adding one more item on top of your overflowing plate. Attendees will learn a few simple and quick well-being activities that can be relied on in virtual and in-person environments to promote focus and centered learning.
