Abstract

This session begins with a brief introduction into the concept of mindfulness and how mindful practices can enhance your quality of life and work.  Mason resources for mindful practices will be shared and there will be time try some quick mindful movement activities.  Mindful movements are gentle stretches that can help release tension and calm the mind. This practice includes fluid movements from qigong (similar to tai chi) and yoga poses. They are easy to do and just may offer a feeling of renewal.
