DOI:

In this session, we discuss some of the experiences and challenges of international GTAs and GRAs, how they maneuver their identities as students and instructors/researchers and seek social support. We explore these intersectionalities through the lenses of Critical Intercultural Communication Pedagogy, Standpoint Theory, Social Support Theory, and Identity Negotiation Theory. After attending this session, participants will better understand the challenges of international GTAs and GRAs and ways to support them, especially during this pandemic.
