Are you interested in increasing the confidence and sense of belonging of your students? Would you like to learn simple strategies to promote student success in face-to-face and online courses? Do you want more students to benefit from your assignments? In this workshop, you will learn about the Transparency in Learning & Teaching (TILT) framework, which equitably promotes student success. Studies have shown that using transparent assignments enhances the performance of all students, with historically underserved students showing the greatest gains. You will leave with a draft assignment/activity for one of your courses and a concise set of strategies for designing transparent assignments/activities.
