Abstract

In this interactive online workshop, we will first discuss why it is now more important than ever that we co-create cultures of well-being in our online classrooms. Then you will learn how you can co-create a culture of well-being through the power of coaching -- through a combination of self-coaching, peer-peer coaching, and faculty-student coaching skill exercises and demonstrations. Then you'll explore how you can bring these coaching skills into your pedagogy after the workshop through two case studies: one focused on synchronous (live) online learning and the other focused on asynchronous (self-paced) online learning. You'll leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of how you can use the power of coaching to co-create a culture of well-being in your online classroom!
