This workshop includes advice on giving feedback appropriate to stages of the writing process, dealing with the errors that bog down reading, developing evaluation criteria based on learning goals, and constructing rubrics to allow for more effective and efficient grading. Advice and strategies are framed by an explanation of the rhetorical demands students face when they write in new and/or unfamiliar contexts.Published
