Abstract

Postsecondary education programs for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) play an increasing role in expanding access to academic and career pathways; however, limited information is available on programs technology integration practices. This national survey examined the program characteristics and types of technology integrated across programs. Results reveal high integration of learning management systems and productivity tools, while assistive technologies were less readily available and often required student requests. Findings may inform program planning and policy to improve accessibility, academic preparation, and ensure programs are equipped to support student success in both higher education and the workforce.
