Volunteer with JMGR

JMGR is now looking for volunteers for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Open positions include:

  • Secretary: The Secretary assists the Editorial Board in recordkeeping and other various tasks as needed.
  • Marketing Director: The Marketing Director works alongside the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to plan events, advertise the Journal, maintain the Journal's online presence, and represent the Journal at Graduate Life events as needed.
  • Marketing/Social Media Assistant: The Marketing/Social Media Assistant's main responsibility is to helps the Marketing Director with various advertising and event planning needs as well as the Journal's online presence.
  • Education & Social Sciences Section Editor:àThe Education & Social Sciences Section Editor works in collaboration with the Managing Editor to provide the final review on all submissions pertainings to education and social sciences related topics.
  • Arts & Humanities Section Editor:àTheàArts & Humanities Section Editor works in collaboration with the Managing Editor to provide the final review on all submissions pertainings to humanities and fine arts related topics.
  • Science & Engineering Section Editor:àThe Science & Engineering Section Editor works in collaboration with the Managing Editor to provide the final review on all submissions pertainings to science and engineering related topics.
  • Lead Copy Editor:àThe Lead Copy Editor oversees the copy editing team and assists the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor in providing a final edit on all completed submissions before the article goes into layout.
  • Assistant Web Director: The Assistant Web Director helps the Web Director with the Journal's online publication system and other web-based needs.
  • Copy Editors - APA, MLA, Chicago: Copy Editors are assigned submissions to be reviewed and edited in accordance with APA, MLA, or Chicago guidelines. Copy Editors are assigned articles based on their own preferred style guides.àA brief online training is provided to all copy editors prior to their first assignment.
  • Peer Reviewers - All Subjects: Peer reviewers are assigned submissions to read for content based on their particular area of study. JMGR is looking for Peer Reviewers from all disciplines. A brief online training is provided to all peer reviewers prior to their first assignment.
