Abstract

Pedagogical approaches to the teaching of a laboratory science course offered by the Honors College at George Mason University will be addressed. This includes the approaches taken to the multiple intelligences of the students as well as the multiple disciplines that are part of this laboratory science course. Alternative pedagogical approaches applied in the previous years' sections of this course will be examined to better offer the participants an understanding of what worked, and what did not work, and why this was the case.
