Abstract

Being a subject matter expert is only part of successful classroom management. Classrooms filled with students are just like audiences at a stage performance. Increasingly, they have an expectation that they will be entertained and not just taught. Techniques from the stage transfer well into the classroom and can improve student's attention, participation, and attendance.
