Abstract

Academic advising is a strategic priority that must be improved to help Mason reach its retention and degree completion goals. Through our partnership with the Education Advisory Board's Student Success Collaborative (SSC), academic programs have access to an analysis of Mason's degree progress data from 1999 to 2009, providing insights on how students who have graduated progressed through their curriculum. Attendees will learn more about the SSC, see a demonstration of the academic advising platform, and discuss how to integrate this technology into academic advising workflow.
